Mission Statement

Sarahfina Somnambulist

Hi friends! My name is Sarahfina and I’ve been providing high quality piercing services in Las Vegas since 2010. In my eyes, piercing is more than jewelry or aesthetics. It’s self-expression, empowerment, healing, celebration, and sometimes even reclaiming parts of yourself.

I’m passionate about maintaining a gentle approach to body adornment, a calm environment, and genuine connection. There’s never any judgment— just good energy, open hearts, and a whole lot of love for helping people shine. This community means so much to me and I feel honored every time someone trusts me to be part of that experience.

Now, as some of my loved-ones and beloved clients may have noticed through social media, I went radio silent in mid April. After my shift on the 18th, I had an abrupt onset of some truly unfathomable nausea and abdominal pain. I foolishly thought I could tough it out and waited (bad chronic illness habit, never do this) until the morning of the 20th to go to the ER. My CT & ultrasound revealed free fluid in my abdomen consistent with internal bleeding. So, they admitted me and wheeled me in for emergency surgery.

What they discovered surprised them. Many of my organs were fused and folded together with adhesions, masses, and scar tissue. Due to the severity of the surrounding situation, the surgeon was only able to do what was absolutely necessary to clean up the bleeding, made sure I was stable, and to their standards, ended the surgery early. There was nothing else the ER team could do for me.

Now, I am in a life-altering limbo that is more painful than ever.

I was officially diagnosed with Stage 4 endometriosis in 2015… but suffered at the hands of misaligned medical professionals. Now, it is considered Deep Infiltrating Endometriosis—an aggressive form of endometriosis that has obliterated my reproductive organs and spread to many of my other organs, including my bladder, ureters, intestines, liver and abdominal wall. This disease affects far more than reproductive health. It causes chronic pain, fatigue, inflammation, organ dysfunction, and daily physical limitations that make even routine activities difficult. Deep infiltrating endometriosis is a full-body chronic inflammatory disease that can invade vital organs and surrounding tissue, and in my case, the complexity of my diagnosis requires highly specialized surgical care that isn’t available locally.

I have been accepted to see a multidisciplinary surgical team across the country that focuses exclusively on severe and complex cases. This surgery offers hope for relief and the ability to regain parts of my life that this disease has slowly taken away… but the financial burden is overwhelming.

Preparing for this surgery means not only covering medical travel and treatment expenses, but also planning for approximately 6-8 weeks away from work during recovery. To help combat the costs of transportation, lodging, medical expenses, childcare support (as a mother of three), and with the weight of missed income while I heal, I have opened a merch shop. I only intend to keep the shop open until this chapter of my life is in the rear-view mirror. So, these items will only ever reflect your help and support for this cause.

Asking for help is not easy, but I am reaching out to the community because I truly cannot do this alone. Every share, donation, and message of support helps bring me closer to receiving the care I desperately need and gives me hope for a healthy future.

Thank you for supporting me during one of the hardest chapters of my life. Your kindness, generosity, and compassion mean more than words can express.
